Cancellation Policy

In event of cancellation 7 or more days notice, we will return the deposit.

For cancellation 3 and 6 days, we will not be able to return the deposit, unless we can re-let the accommodation. With less than 3 days notice of a cancellation, we will not be able to return the deposit, unless we can re-let the accommodation. With less than 3 days notice of a cancellation, we will unfortunately have to charge the full amount for accommodation unless we can re-let the room.

Charity CAR BOOT SALE - SUNDAY 29 JULY

We wish to thank all the people and the Suppliers that kindly donated items for the car boot and the raffle. They were greatly appreciated, and especially to Tina and Steve from South West Landscape Centre for donating the tree and the many splendid plants they brought with them. reviews... The car boot was well attended and the presentation of the tree planting ceremony in memory of Esmee Godwin was wonderful with the family and locals gathered around dad as he did the honours...an emotional event supported by the villagers

The Piddle Inn holds a variety of events throughout the year many of these have become a long standing tradition, no more so than our annual Duck Race raising money for Piddletrenthide United. This event stretches back more than ten years and is a great day out for the whole family.

Other events include our Fathers Day Charity Cider Festival which as well as an extensive outside cider bar includes Live Music (all day), BBQ/Hog Roast, skittles, spray art and many other attractions.

Moving through the year throughout the autumn months a variety of specialty supper evenings are a popular way to relax and enjoy something different, last year saw a wonderful Game supper night all supplied from the hills of the piddle valley.

Rounding off the year is our Christmas shopping night with stalls from a range of people and suppliers, anything from Quantock Abbey wines and local cheese, to jewellery, shoes and handbags, even the Body Shop and Thornton’s chocolates...

Our last hurrah for the year is our New Year's Eve Party.  This is an occasion for all with a fantastic turn out from the local community this is a night guaranteed not to disappoint.  Kicked off with one of our finest menus of the year followed by live music/disco and fancy dress if you feel like entering the competition...

All of these events throughout the year are only the tip of the iceberg here at the Piddle Inn, there are many other nights and events well worth a visit such as our charity Race Night for Plush Cricket Club, various quizzes and much much more...
