One of the most popular features is our fish and specials board, now changed to a complete Italian menu; pasta, meat and fish, but still including our Traditional English dishes.

Nestled in the heart of the piddle valley access to local fresh fish is available daily which we take full advantage of, with Lyme Bay Scallops and Portland Crab, beautiful whole Plaice and Lemon sole from Poole Bay.  Keeping ordering to a minimum ensures quality and freshness rarely found in a country pub.

The restaurants, seating 50, offers daily specials, fresh fish, and a Seasonal menu sourced from local farmers, fish and produce markets with homemade puddings and local ice creams and a superb traditional Sunday lunch.

Lunch -12 noon to 2pm Friday to Sunday

Dinner - 6pm - 9.30pm every day
