Our head chef and kitchen team are very proud of their local sourcing, they try to find the best quality local produce from season to season, this is highlighted in the quarterly change to the menu, doing this ensures all produce is being used at its peak...
One of the most popular features is our fish and specials board, even nestled in the heart of the piddle valley access to local fresh fish is available daily which we take full advantage of, from our Lyme Bay Scallops and Portland Crab to our beautiful whole Plaice and Lemon sole from Poole Bay. Keeping ordering to a minimum ensures quality and freshness rarely found in a country pub.
The restaurants seating 50 offers daily specials, fresh fish and a Seasonal menu sourced from local farmers, fish and produce markets with homemade puddings and local ice creams and a superb traditional Sunday lunch.
